The library is the perfect community center for introducing educational programs to families with young children. A Time for Kids organizes ½ hour classes designed for our youngest patrons, 9 – 17 months and their adult caregivers. Engaging “learning through play” materials are used in a group setting including singing, finger plays, dancing and more. Literature from the National Association for the Education of Young Children is given to each participant. Our instructors lead adults through informal discussions of topics relating to adults with children under the age of 18 months.
